Filming + Editing

Today we finished filming, releateively we had very little to do as we got a lot of our shots from last week and in terms of time, we've had a few bumps. Other than that, we're rareing to go and we know what we're doing. Getting the narrative and performance shots today, I took the camera home and converted the footage and began working on a rough cut with Barry and Reece with screen share so that we can discuss certain areas of the piece - what to put in, what to cut to, how long to hold a clip. For the minute, we just have a perlimeary cut that basically has the sequence layed out. Luckily enough, we got all of the lip syncing and instrument playing (on the most part) in sync with the video, emphasising the song. Me and the boys will possibly consider lighting effects or colour control and maybe even shot length again tomorrow as I feel personally the shots look low quality where as we could temper with them to add that flavour of unique, desirable edge to the piece.
